Everything that you need and nothing that you don’t. The cabin was a great place to stay while doing some skiing at sugarloaf. Even though it was 0 outside it stayed warm and cozy. Would definitely stay again.

we really enjoyed our cabin retreat! it was exactly as pictured and described in the listing. I slept so well and so did my husband. we enjoyed getting away from the hustle and bustle of big cities. we went apple picking at "The Apple Farm" (best apple cider!) and horseback riding at Martin Woods Farm, definitely recommend those activities. Jon was super helpful and quick to respond.

A truly special cabin & experience! So beautiful (& fully stocked/sparkling clean)! Breathtaking peaceful surroundings. Off a side dirt road in a private glade, nestled deep inside a remote pine forest, yet gps takes you right there! We arrived middle of night in pitch black & it was still super easy. Host Jon made it all possible, too, he was wonderful; professional, accommodating, kind: above & beyond! I arrived w/ an injury/boot cast. That said, the cabin has everything you need on 1-floor living despite being a spacious airy loft; full bath, super-stocked kitchen, nice bedroom, great info binder, extra bedding/towels, & outdoor grill were all only steps apart! Also, though a rustic cabin, has both AC & heat: works in seconds! Our small children fell in love with the cabin! They called the loft & winding staircase “indoor treehouse” & were so charmed. Outside, they loved exploring; found frogs & other friends, & picked wild Maine blueberries with glee! Mega recommend! A blessing!!

Our family had an amazing week at this great little cabin. Very private and peaceful location with plenty of activities to do both on the property and close by. The cabin is spacious and comfortable and since we had some hot August days while there, we really appreciated the mini split AC system which kept the whole place nice and cool. Both parents and kids alike had so much fun exploring the small stream on the property. During our stay the water level was low which left a number of small pools of water amongst the rocks. My kids were able to net a bunch of small fish, some frogs and we even managed to snag a few crayfish. It felt really good to be with the kids just out and connecting with nature. There were also excellent fishing and swimming spots close by. Swimming at the wire bridge was another highlight of the trip. The host Jon was helpful and quick to respond and also told us to help ourselves to the blueberries growing right off the porch. We will be visiting again!
